Dak Nong is likely to experience thunderstorms in the coming time. Local authorities require localities to proactively handle natural disasters.

On April 22, the Dak Nong Provincial Hydrometeorological Station issued a warning bulletin of thunderstorms, lightning, hail and local heavy rain in the area.

Through monitoring satellite cloud images and weather radar images, convective clouds are developing in some places in Dak Song and Tuy Duc districts of Dak Nong province.

According to the forecast, convective clouds continue to develop, causing showers and thunderstorms in some places in the province.

Therefore, during thunderstorms, people need to be on guard against tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind that can cause roofs to fall off, trees to fall and injure people and livestock.

Previously, in the province, there were thunderstorms and strong winds, causing many trees and billboards in Gia Nghia city to fall.

To ensure the safety of people and property, the Provincial People's Committee requires agencies and units to implement measures to prevent and combat natural disasters.

Departments, branches, sectors and Chairmen of People's Committees of districts and cities need to propagate to people and businesses about inspecting and reinforcing houses and public works. Monitor the weather and natural disasters, inform people promptly to have effective response measures.

The Department of Education and Training coordinates to check the safety of students and guide the handling of trees in the school grounds. The Department of Construction controls tree management, reviews trees at risk of falling and guides the construction of works that can withstand storms and tornadoes

The Industrial Park Management Board will guide measures to ensure the safety of warehouses and workshops. Dak Nong Power Company needs to quickly fix the problem to ensure continuous power supply.

When there are natural disasters, the People's Committees of districts and cities must mobilize forces and means to quickly handle and overcome the consequences, protecting the safety of people and property.
