This is one of the important professional tournaments organized by the Vietnam Tennis Federation (VTF) in coordination with related units. The matches took place at the tennis court cluster of the Community Sports Center, Ho Chi Minh City.
The tournament will take place from August 14 to 20, 2025, gathering nearly 100 excellent tennis players from 9 strong units across the country: AP Sports Club, Ho Chi Minh City, Military Team, Becamex Binh Duong, Hanoi, Xuan Phuc Club - Ninh Binh, Quang Hanh Club - Khanh Hoa, Hai Phong, Dong Nai.
The tournament attracted leading Vietnamese tennis players such as Vu Ha Minh Duc (AP Sports Club), who has won the national championship twice in 2023, 2024; Le Trung Tinh (Army) ... as well as outstanding young talents such as Nguyen Minh Phat (AP Sports Club), Tu Le Khanh Duy (Xuan Phuc - Ninh Binh), Nguyen Dai Khanh (Becamex Binh Duong), Ngo Hong Hanh (Army), Nguyen Thi Mai Linh (Hanoi)...
Players will compete in 5 events of the VTF Pro Tour 200 tournament system, including men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed-women doubles, promising to bring top-notch and exciting matches.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, VTF representative, Mr. Nguyen Hong Son said: "This is the first individual professional tournament in 2025. The tournament is not only an opportunity for tennis players to affirm their bravery and form, but also plays an important role in developing tennis, training successors, aiming to elevate Vietnamese tennis in the international arena.
At the same time, the results of the tournament will be one of the important bases for the Vietnam Tennis Federation (VTF) to make comments and evaluate the quality of the athletes, serving the selection of forces to participate in the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand in December".
Meanwhile, Mr. Mai Hoai Anh - Vice President of AP Sports Club emphasized that tournaments such as VTF Pro Tour 200 will be a launching pad for Vietnamese tennis to discover, nurture and bring young talents to conquer top-notch tennis.
The VTF Pro Tour 200 National Women's Tennis Championship, the AP Sports Club Cup 2025, promises to bring a vibrant competition week, eye-catching football matches and memorable sports moments.
