On March 6 and 7, in Nam Can Town, Nam Can District, Ca Mau Province, the Party Committee of Squadron 421, Squadron 42, Coast Guard Region 4 Command successfully organized the Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.
During the past term, the 421 Squadron Party Executive Committee has led and directed the unit to successfully complete the targets and tasks set by the Party Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term.
Some outstanding and excellent tasks were completed such as: organizing 216 ships and boats in operation, traveling over 80,000 nautical miles in absolute safety in all aspects; inspecting more than 600 ships, making fines and advising on handling according to authority 54 ships with a total amount of money paid to the State budget of nearly 500 million VND. Successfully organized rescue for 2 cases/9 people and 2 fishing boats of fishermen in distress at sea.
In training, the results of annual testing of the contents are 100% satisfactory, from 80 - 85% good, good (25 - 39% good); the quality of training in the following year is higher than the previous year. From 2021 to 2024, the unit has always been recognized as an excellent training unit.
With the achieved results, since the beginning of the term, the Party Committee has always achieved the task well or better, the unit has always achieved the title of Comprehensive Strong Unit; in 2023 - 2024, Squadron 421 was awarded the title of "Determined to win Unit" by the Coast Guard Command, the Party Committee was recognized as a clean and strong unit.
Speaking at the Congress, Lieutenant Colonel Vu Dinh Nga - Deputy Political Commissar of Squadron 42 - acknowledged, commended and congratulated the achievements that the 421 Squadron Party Committee has achieved in the 2020 - 2025 term. At the same time, he requested the 421 Squadron Party Committee in the coming term to focus on thoroughly grasping and seriously and effectively implementing resolutions and directives of Party committees at all levels.
Build a clean and strong Party Committee, a strong squadron, a comprehensive "exemplary and exemplary" squadron, excellently complete training and combat readiness tasks; patrol, inspect, control, maintain law enforcement at sea, participate in the prevention and control of IUU fishing; search and rescue; contribute to firmly protecting sovereignty and maintaining a peaceful and stable environment in the sea area assigned to the southwest of the Fatherland.
Regularly attach importance to building a strong Party Committee in politics; build a team of cadres and Party members with sufficient qualities, abilities, and good working style methods, truly exemplary and responsible, and complete all assigned tasks well and excellently.
With a spirit of solidarity, democracy and high responsibility, the Congress discussed and participated in contributing quality opinions, determining the goals, directions, tasks and solutions for leading the Navy in the 2025 - 2030 term; contributing to the documents submitted to the IIIrd Congress of the Navy's Party Committee and the documents of the Central Committee submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party to ensure seriousness, quality and compliance with regulations.
The Congress elected the 421th Executive Committee of the Navy Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 7 comrades; elected the Delegation to attend the 42nd Party Congress of the Navy, the 3rd time for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 25 official delegates and 2 absent delegates.
