On February 12, the Standing Committee of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce decisions on organizational structure and personnel.
At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee announced the decision to end the activities of: the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies - Enterprises Bloc, the Party Delegations, the Party Executive Committees under the Provincial Party Committee (including the Party Delegation of the Provincial People's Council; the Party Delegation of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; the Party Delegation of the Provincial Farmers' Association; the Party Delegation of the Provincial Women's Union; the Party Delegation of the Provincial Labor Federation; the Party Delegation of the Provincial Veterans' Association; the Party Delegation of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association; the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee; the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Procuracy; the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Court).
The Standing Committee of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee also announced the decision to end the activities of the Provincial Cadre Health Care and Protection Board, transferring the task to the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board, the Department of Health, and the Kien Giang Provincial General Hospital. The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Board and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Board were merged into the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Board.
Establishing Party Committees of Provincial Party Agencies directly under the Provincial Party Committee, including Party organizations in specialized agencies advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee, public service units directly under the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, People's Procuracy, People's Court, and provincial-level mass organizations assigned tasks by the Party and State (25 Party organizations).
The Party Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies has 25 comrades; the Party Standing Committee has 9 comrades; the Party Inspection Committee has 7 comrades.
The Standing Committee of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee appointed Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Council Lam Minh Thanh to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Provincial Party Agencies, term 2020-2025, term 2025-2030.
Establishment of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee directly under the Provincial Party Committee, including Party organizations in specialized agencies, public service units under the Provincial People's Committee, enterprises, bank branches, agencies under central ministries and branches located in the province (74 affiliated Party organizations).
The Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee has 26 members; the Party Standing Committee has 8 members; the Party Inspection Committee has 6 members.
The Standing Committee of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee appointed Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Nhan to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, term 2020-2025, term 2025-2030.
The Standing Committee of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee also announced the decision to appoint comrade Tong Phuoc Truong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, to hold the position of Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
Speaking at the conference, Kien Giang Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Tien Hai requested Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, agencies, units and individuals concerned to focus on urgently leading, directing and organizing the immediate implementation of a number of tasks after the reorganization. For the two newly established Party Committees, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission urgently stabilizes the organization, apparatus and staff, develops and immediately issues working regulations; associated with assigning specific and clear tasks to members, especially the team of leaders and managers.
At the same time, immediately establish advisory and support agencies and develop job position plans to ensure the apparatus operates effectively and smoothly. Continue to streamline the payroll, so that there is no work without people to do it.
The two newly established Party Committees carefully prepare to successfully organize the congresses of affiliated grassroots Party organizations and Party Committees for the 2025-2030 term.
