On the morning of March 19, Long Xuyen Ward Police said that the Investigation Police Agency of An Giang Provincial Police is temporarily detaining the subjects: Nguyen Trong Kha (born in 2006), Tran Hong Phat (born in 2007) and Luong Trieu Vi (born in 2007, all residing in Long Xuyen Ward, An Giang province) to continue investigating the act of "Disturbing public order".
According to initial information, due to previous conflicts with Nguyen Kha (born in 2008, residing at No. 55, Rach Bang Tang road, Tay Khanh 7 hamlet, Long Xuyen ward), at about 2 am on March 16, 2026, Minh Triet's group (unidentified name and address) including: Triet, Trong Kha, Phat, Vi, and dozens of other teenagers invited each other to fight with Kha's group. When going, Triet's group brought spears, machetes, and pig-slaughtering knives, using motorbikes to take each other to the meeting point to resolve conflicts but did not see anyone.
At this time, the group drove each other to Kha's house and used weapons to smash and break the window and main door glass.
After receiving the report, by professional measures, Long Xuyen Ward Police quickly identified and invited the related subjects to the headquarters to work.
At the police station, initially the subjects admitted their violations.
The case is being further investigated and verified to clarify the violations of the related subjects, in order to strictly handle it before the law.
