This is a subject related to the motorbike theft that occurred on September 16, 2025 on Provincial Road 943 (belonging to Tay Khanh 7 hamlet, Long Xuyen ward).
Previously, on September 16, 2025, Nguyen Thanh Nhut used a motorbike to carry Nguyen Van Thu (born in 1988, residing in Long Xuyen ward) to find 2 friends in the Tay Khanh 7 hamlet area, Long Xuyen ward to borrow money.
When they arrived in Tay Khanh 7 area, they discovered a motorbike without a guard in front of the house (unknown house number), so both had the intention to steal.
Nhut acts as a guard and gives key breaking tools to Thu to break the car lock. After opening the lock, Thu leads the car out, then people discover and arrest Thu and the exhibits, handing them over to Long Xuyen Ward Police. Nhut escapes.
On September 25, 2025, the Investigation Police Agency of An Giang Provincial Police issued a Decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and issue an arrest warrant for temporary detention for Nguyen Van Thu for the act of "Theft of property". At the same time, issued a search warrant for Nguyen Thanh Nhut.
