Can Tho City People's Committee has just issued a Plan to organize the City's Annual Economic Forum in 2025.
With the theme "Can Tho City towards a modern logistics center - Development driving force of the Mekong Delta", the Forum is expected to be held on November 14, 2025, with the People's Committee of Can Tho City as the guiding agency. The City Institute of Economics and Social Affairs is the implementing agency.
The forum will focus on analyzing, assessing the current situation and proposing solutions to develop logistics activities in Can Tho City as a driving force center of the Mekong Delta. In particular, logistics infrastructure will focus on inland waterways, sea routes, roads, railways, air routes, port infrastructure and logistics centers.
In addition, contents related to logistics services ( transportation, warehousing, delivery, final delivery, auxiliary); logistics service enterprises (number, service provision capacity of enterprises, development trends); market development for logistics services; mechanisms and policies for developing logistics activities in the coming time will also be analyzed and discussed at the forum.
