On January 1 and March 2, the Bar Association of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province held the 8th plenary session for the 2024-2029 term.
During the previous term, the lawyers in the group participated in a total of 1,727 litigation cases of all kinds; participated in 2,066 legal consultation cases; 82 cases of non- litigation representation; 298 cases of other legal services; and 1,243 cases of free legal aid. The total tax paid to the budget is more than 6.6 billion VND (reaching 132.4% over the same period, excluding personal income tax).

At the congress, delegates elected the Executive Committee; the Reward and Disciplinary Council for the new term 2024-2029.
In which, lawyer Vu Anh Thao was elected as Chairman of the Provincial Bar Association; Deputy Chairmen include lawyers: Luu Van Tam, Pham Hung, Nguyen Thi Hoa, Nguyen Hai Van.
Currently, the Bar Association of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province has about 261 lawyers, ranking 7th in the country. Including 70 legal practice organizations including 25 law firms and 35 law firms.
