On January 19, the Department of Education and Training of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province announced that in the National High School Student Excellence Exam for the 2024-2025 school year, 56 local candidates won prizes, including 12 Second prizes, 14 Third prizes and 30 Consolation prizes.
Of which, 9 candidates won prizes in Information Technology; 8 candidates won prizes in History; 7 candidates won prizes in Mathematics; 7 candidates won prizes in Physics; 6 candidates won prizes in Biology and Geography; 4 candidates won prizes in Chemistry and Literature; 5 candidates won prizes in English.
Previously, the national high school exam for the 2024-2025 school year was held on February 25 and 26, 2024, with 6,482 candidates nationwide participating. The exam board selected 3,803 winners, accounting for 58.68% of the total number of candidates taking the exam.
Ba Ria - Vung Tau province has a total of 99 candidates participating in 10 exams. With the above results, the winning rate reached 56.6%, an increase compared to the previous year. It is known that in the 2023-2024 school year, Ba Ria - Vung Tau had 89 candidates taking the exam, and 44 candidates won prizes.
