At the latest working session on April 17 between Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee and the Business Association to remove difficulties, many units are still concerned about increased costs and difficulty in retaining workers.
Leaders of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee said that the province has implemented the "green channel" mechanism in resolving administrative procedures for key off-budget projects, thereby shortening at least 60% of the dossier processing time.
The province is developing and perfecting policies to support the development of high-tech agriculture, tourism and key economic sectors, creating a favorable foundation to attract investment.

According to Mr. Bui Duc Giang - Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial Business Association, production and business activities are under a lot of pressure due to market fluctuations, increased input costs, reduced purchasing power and difficulty accessing credit capital. Many businesses are forced to narrow down their scale, orders decrease, and the consumption market faces many obstacles.
In particular, labor and labor costs are creating great pressure when the announced price is lower than reality, causing businesses to pay 1.5 - 2 times higher to retain workers.
In addition, some administrative procedures are still prolonged; problems in planning, site clearance and lack of information about the list of projects calling for investment also affect the operation of businesses.
The Provincial Business Association also proposed that the Provincial People's Committee propose many solutions such as stabilizing the gasoline and oil market, accelerating the issuance of construction material exploitation licenses, controlling raw material prices, adjusting labor prices closer to reality, supporting businesses to access capital and financial policies, as well as strengthening labor supply and demand connections.
Regarding the "green channel" mechanism, the provincial business community hopes that departments and branches will continue to promote reforms, streamline processes, and shorten the time to resolve administrative procedures.
