Doctranslate.io was born in 2023 and after just over a year, it was selected by Google to join the world-famous Google for Startups Accelerator 2024 startup program. The platform is also in the Top 5 most potential startups at the National Innovation Startup Festival (TECHFEST 2024).
According to the scientific research presented at the IEEE-RIVF Conference (international Conference on Computer and Communications Technology) in Da Nang from December 21-23, 2024, Doctranslate.io's ALMA-Gemma-7B-IT-ST model has given an outstanding score compared to other platforms, in the English-to-Vietnamese translation test and vice versa.
Tran Vu Anh, founder of this Vietnamese Startup, said that during his time living in Japan and working in other countries, he often had to use Google Translate to support communication; he realized that this tool still has some points that can be improved, especially in terms of accuracy and complex context processing capabilities.
With his efforts and the team of partners, Doctranslate.io was born and became an English translation solution capable of supporting many document formats such as Word, PDF, PowerPoint, images, videos and audio, meeting the needs in fields from office, education to healthcare, law and marketing.
The development team has optimized the Doctranslate.io large language model (LLM), helping the product achieve about 20% superior English - Vietnamese translation efficiency compared to existing tools, according to scientific research.
Doctranslate.io not only provides a support tool but also opens up great opportunities for Vietnam to access international knowledge through high-quality translation.
With initial foundations and successes, this Vietnamese startup plans to expand to the markets of countries in Southeast Asia, then globally, affirming the position of Vietnamese intelligence on the global technology map.
