On September 15, Captain Vo Minh Luan, Head of Lai Hoa Border Guard Station, Border Guard (BDBP) of Can Tho City, said that the unit had just discovered and arrested a subject illegally possessing drugs.
Previously, at 8:05 p.m. on September 14, during a patrol in Hoa Hiep Hamlet, Lai Hoa Commune, the working group of Lai Hoa Border Guard Station coordinated with the Department of Professional Affairs (Can Tho City Border Guard) and Lai Hoa Commune Police to catch Chau Loi (born in 1991, residing in Hoa Hiep Hamlet, Lai Hoa Commune) red-handed for illegally storing drugs.
On-site searching, the authorities seized 43 sections of plastic pipes welded at both ends, containing white crystals suspected to be drugs and some related exhibits.
Currently, Lai Hoa Border Guard Station is investigating and handling the case according to the provisions of law.
