On June 11, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to listen to units report on the plan to implement the program "Keep the flavor - Live the passion", accompanying the FIFA World Cup 2026 final.
At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying the organizational context, purpose, meaning and message of the program; and at the same time giving opinions on the scale, organizational content, plans to ensure security and order, traffic safety, health work, environmental sanitation and the participation of accompanying units.
According to the proposal, the program is expected to take place from July 18 - 20, 2026 at Nguyen Van Linh Square, Pho Hien ward, with socialized funding and a scale of about 2,000 - 3,000 attendees.
Within the framework of the event, there will be many cultural, entertainment and experiential activities such as: Hanoi Beer Cultural Space; experience and check-in area; community exchange area; art performance programs; interactive activities with audiences; product enjoyment space and live viewing area for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Van Nghiem emphasized that the program not only creates a space for entertainment and experiential activities for people and tourists but also contributes to promoting community exchange, promoting local image, stimulating trade and service demand and creating more attraction for cultural activities in the province.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee agreed on the policy of organizing the program according to the proposal; and at the same time requested departments, branches, localities and related units to continue to review and complete the organization plan, ensure the selection of suitable spaces, and effectively implement the work of ensuring security and order, traffic safety, fire prevention and fighting, health and environmental sanitation throughout the event.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to take the lead in reviewing units participating in business and product display; event organizing units to urgently complete dossiers and procedures according to regulations, proactively coordinate with relevant agencies and units to implement assigned tasks.
Pho Hien Ward People's Committee presides over ensuring water supply, environmental sanitation and conditions for the event. After completing the relevant contents, the event organizing unit summarizes and completes the dossier, and reports to competent authorities for consideration and comments before implementation.
