On April 4, Ninh Binh Provincial Police said that through patrol and control work, at about 9:10 pm on April 3, the Task Force of Road Traffic Police Team No. 1 under the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police was on duty on Le Duan street, in Dong Hoa Lu ward, Ninh Binh province. The Task Force discovered Ho Duy Long (born in 2000, residing in Dong Hoa Lu ward, Ninh Binh province) driving a motorbike with license plate 35AH - 004. xx carrying Mai Thi D (born in 2009, residing in Yen Tu commune, Ninh Binh province) without wearing a helmet, so they requested to stop the vehicle for administrative inspection according to regulations.
During the inspection, the Task Force discovered Ho Duy Long possessing 1 nylon bag, white color, red border, inside containing white crystalline substance. Conducting the work, Long confessed that it was Ketamine-type drugs, Long bought them for personal use.
Currently, the Task Force has made a record of the incident and is coordinating with Dong Hoa Lu Ward Police to investigate and handle it according to the provisions of law.
