On the morning of January 29, at Cat Linh station, NQ Medical Joint Stock Company donated an automatic defibrillator (AED) and organized cardiopulmonary resuscitation training for officials and employees of Hanoi Railway Company Limited (Hanoi Metro), in order to improve their ability to respond to emergency medical situations at the station.
Accordingly, NQ Medical Joint Stock Company donated Hanoi Metro 2 AED machines accompanied by 2 stands with alarm horns. These are important medical devices, providing timely support in cases of circulatory arrest, helping to increase the chances of survival for victims and minimize health risks for passengers and workers during the operation of the metro system.
Putting AED machines into operation at Cat Linh station - which welcomes thousands of passengers every day - is considered a necessary step, in line with the development trend of modern public transport. In addition to supplementing medical equipment, this activity also shows concern for the safety and health of passengers.
In parallel with donating equipment, experts from NQ Medical Joint Stock Company directly trained and guided Hanoi Metro officials and employees on first aid and emergency cardiac arrest skills according to medical recommendations. Through this, forces on duty at the station and on trains were equipped with additional knowledge to promptly handle emergency situations in crowded public transport environments.
According to Mr. Le Bang An - General Director of Hanoi Metro, receiving and putting AED machines into use along with emergency training is a practical activity, contributing to strengthening safety assurance capacity during operation and improving passenger service quality.
Safety is not only in technical infrastructure, vehicles or operating procedures, but also in readiness to respond to emergency medical situations. This is a meaningful activity for Hanoi Metro and the passenger community, demonstrating the social responsibility of businesses in community health care," Mr. Le Bang An emphasized.
