On November 28, the Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Da Nang City Police coordinated with Quang Nam - Da Nang Railway Joint Stock Company, Railway Safety Management Department II - Vietnam Railway Authority, Railway Traffic Police Team No. 2 - Department 6 (Traffic Police Department), People's Committees of Tay Ho and Tam Xuan communes, Tay Ho Commune Police and Tam Xuan Commune Police to close 2 illegal residential crossroads at locations: Km 857+100 (Tay Ho commune) and Km 870+050 (Tam Xuan commune).

These two crossings are identified as self-opened crossings, with a high risk of railway accidents. The Traffic Police force has coordinated with relevant units to inspect the current situation, erect solid barriers, clear obstacles, and install warning signs, ensuring complete blockage of vehicles and people moving through the railway area at the two points above.
In parallel with the work of closing the level crossing, the Traffic Police force has stepped up propaganda and mobilized people to strictly comply with the provisions of the Railway Law, not to re-encroach on the railway traffic safety corridor and not to arbitrarily open new paths. People are instructed to use the nearest legal level crossing to ensure safety for themselves and their vehicles when crossing.
The construction of two residential crossings at Km 857+100 and Km 870+050 contributes significantly to eliminating the risk of railway traffic accidents, creating a smooth and safe corridor for trains, while raising awareness of law compliance among local people.
In the coming time, the Da Nang Traffic Police Department will continue to coordinate with the railway industry and local authorities to inspect, review, and thoroughly handle self-opened paths, gradually forming a safe and sustainable railway traffic environment.
