Gia Lai celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Provincial Liberation Day

Gia Lai - People are proud and excited about the province's journey of innovation and development after the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day.

These days, Pleiku ward is brilliant with flags and flowers, the festive atmosphere is bustling with vibrant cultural and artistic activities.

Gia Lai people expressed their joy and pride in the strong development of their homeland over the past half century.

Mr. Tran Manh Huan (65 years old), in Pleiku city, shared: Born and raised here, I witnessed the difficult days after the liberation. Now, Gia Lai is getting better and better, the streets are bustling, clean and beautiful, I love and am proud of my hometown even more".

Not only the older generation, but also the younger generation eagerly awaited the 50th Anniversary of the Provincial Liberation Day.

Tran Van Minh, a student at Gia Lai College, expressed: I clearly feel the changes of the province every day. Gia Lai not only has beautiful scenery but also develops dynamically. I believe that in the future, my province will go even further, attracting more businesses to invest and create more jobs for workers".

According to the Organizing Committee for Commemorating Major Holidays and Important Historical events of Gia Lai province, the art program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Provincial Liberation Day (March 17, 1975 - March 17, 2025) will take place on the evening of March 17 at Dai Doan Ket Square.

The program consists of three parts: The historical song; Gia Lai - The 50-year journey of innovation and development; Proud of Gia Lai - Steadfast in the future.

The content recreates the strong changes of Gia Lai after half a century, a land that is both modern, dynamic, and preserves cultural identity.

The program also honors the persistent working spirit of the people, continuing the heroic tradition of the resilient and indomitable Central Highlands.

At the end of the art night, on the evening of March 17, the Provincial Military Command will organize a 15-minute fireworks display, promising to bring a vibrant and meaningful atmosphere to this important event.
