On January 13, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province requested units to strengthen management, operation and price stabilization during the Lunar New Year 2025.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, units and People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to coordinate with the Department of Finance and departments, branches and sectors to organize the implementation of management, operation and price stabilization work in the area.
At the same time, strengthen the management, monitoring, inspection and handling of violations in the implementation of legal regulations on prices, taxes, fees and charges at organizations, enterprises and business households in the province, especially at production and business units of essential consumer goods and services, goods that are input materials for production, goods and services on the list of price registration, price declaration and price posting according to regulations.
Strengthen monitoring of supply and demand developments and market prices, especially at concentrated consumption locations and densely populated areas; do not allow the phenomenon of taking advantage of the end of the year and the Lunar New Year to increase prices in a chain, affecting the socio-economy and people's lives; coordinate and create conditions for organizations, enterprises and business households in the area to implement trade promotion programs, stimulate consumption and increase the circulation of goods.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Industry and Trade to strengthen the monitoring and grasping of market information, proactively propose measures to stabilize the market, supply and demand of goods to ensure full and timely response to people's consumption needs during Tet, especially essential goods, goods with high consumption demand during Tet such as food, confectionery, alcohol, tobacco; not to let supply and demand imbalance affect market price developments and people's consumption needs.
