The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just proposed that the Provincial Police advise the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to direct departments, branches, sectors, unions and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to deploy amnesty work in 2025 according to Decree No. 49/2020/ND-CP of the Government detailing the implementation of the Law on Enforcement of Criminal Judgments on Community Reintegration.
Hai Duong Provincial Police coordinate with the Provincial People's Court and the Provincial People's Procuracy in preparing a dossier to request amnesty for people whose prison sentences are being postponed or temporarily suspended.
Direct the police of communes, wards and towns to advise People's Committees at the same level to coordinate with local departments, branches, unions and social organizations to effectively carry out the work of receiving, managing, educating and helping those who are granted amnesty.At the same time, grasp the situation of people granted amnesty to reside in the locality, do not let them affect national security and social order and safety.
The Office of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province coordinates with the Provincial Police to help the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee direct the implementation of amnesty work in 2025 in the province; monitor and urge departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to organize the implementation of amnesty work in 2025 according to assigned functions and tasks.
The Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, sectors and unions, based on the functions and tasks of the sector and unit, to proactively disseminate and implement amnesty work in 2025; at the same time, coordinate with relevant units and localities in education, support and introduction of jobs, borrow capital, help amnesty recipients stabilize their lives and reintegrate into the community.
The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities direct the People's Committees at the commune level to receive amnesty recipients and have plans to manage, educate, and help amnesty recipients to reside in the locality to stabilize their lives and benefit society and the community.The authorities need to organize vocational training, introduce and solve jobs for people affected by amnesty; guarantee loans, support capital to solve jobs to help amnesty recipients stabilize their lives and reintegrate into the local community.
The Provincial People's Committee encourages agencies, organizations, enterprises, production establishments and individuals in the area to support resources, coordinate to help and create conditions for people with amnesty to learn a trade, find a job, borrow capital for production and business to stabilize their lives.
