Implementing Decision 1665/QD-TTg, in order to nurture ideas and passion for entrepreneurship right from high school, the Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong province has coordinated with the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture to organize the Workshop "Journey of Starting and Innovation from High School" with the aim of discovering and nurturing students with a passion for science and technology and arousing the spirit and aspiration to start a business in young people.
The workshop also aims to equip knowledge and skills to realize startup ideas for students of high schools in the province. The workshop was attended by experienced speakers in education and entrepreneurship, equipping students with useful knowledge, inspiring their passion, and giving high school students in the province a launching pad for creative ideas and enthusiasm for entrepreneurship.
Speaking at the workshop, Mr. Do Duy Hung - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong province - said that Decision 1639/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister approving the Planning of Hai Duong province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, has set a general goal "Striving to become a modern industrial province, a dynamic industrial center of the Red River Delta, with a large scale of economy in the country by 2030.

Synchronous socio-economic infrastructure; green, smart, modern, and unique urban development system; meeting some basic criteria of centrally-run cities... Developing high-tech industry, high-quality services to serve production activities in the area and the whole region; developing a multi-value agricultural economy to create stability for the economy".
To achieve the above goal, Hai Duong pays special attention to training, developing high-quality human resources, and promoting the development of the startup movement.
Prof. Dr. Pham Van Cuong - Deputy Director of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture - affirmed that the workshop is very meaningful for students, especially grade 12 students in the province.
"The Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Education and Training and I highly agree with the assessments of human resource needs, entrepreneurship journeys of students at high schools in the province, universities in general and the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture in particular, and the recommendations and solutions that need to be implemented in the coming time" - Prof. Dr. Pham Van Cuong said.
