Hai Phong - Traffic projects in Hai Duong ward are being strongly directed by local leaders to handle problems with site clearance.

The leaders of Hai Duong ward (Hai Phong city) have just inspected the progress of a number of urban renovation projects that are still stuck in site clearance on Trinh Thi Lan, Tong Duy Tan, Nguyen Dinh Chieu routes, belonging to residential groups 6, 7, 8, and 12.

The project to renovate and expand Trinh Thi Lan Street started construction at the end of 2024, and is now basically completed, but there are still 4 households at the intersection with Tran Hung Dao Street that have not handed over the site to the construction unit.

The Tong Duy Tan route connecting Tran Hung Dao to Nguyen Huu Cau is 533m long, of which the section of about 471m was previously constructed. Currently, the intersection with Nguyen Huu Cau has not been implemented due to land acquisition problems.

In addition, the project to renovate the Tong Duy Tan - Nguyen Huu Cau intersection was approved for investment in 2021, with the Hai Duong Regional Project Management Board as the investor. The steps of land acquisition and establishment of a Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council have been implemented, but have not yet been completed.

The ward leaders requested the Department of Infrastructure and Urban Economics to continue to advise on solutions to remove them, speed up progress to synchronize traffic infrastructure and urban beautification. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen propaganda and mobilization to create consensus among people and households subject to land acquisition, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule.
