On April 8, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that Phu Son Commune Police, Nghi Son Town has just coordinated with the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security), the Criminal Police Department of the Provincial Police and the North-South Expressway Project Management Board to investigate and clarify the case of property destruction on the North-South Expressway (section through Phu Son Commune, Nghi Son Town).
Previously, Phu Son Commune Police received a report that at around 8:30 p.m. on April 4, on the North-South Expressway (through Phu Son Commune, Nghi Son Town), an incident occurred, 2 passenger cars with license plates 36H-086.XX and 35E-004.XX were traveling in the North-South direction, when passing through Bac Son village, Phu Son commune, Nghi Son town, the escape window broke due to a collision with a round object suspected to be an iron ball.
Immediately after receiving the report, Phu Son Commune Police quickly coordinated with the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security), the Criminal Police Department of the Provincial Police and the North-South Expressway Project Management Board to investigate, verify and clarify.
Initially, the police identified the perpetrators of the above incident as D.D.P (13 years old) and N.N.Q (10 years old), both residing in Bac Son village, Phu Son commune, Nghi Son town.
According to the investigation, on the evening of April 4, the two children used rubber to shoot an iron ball to shoot a bird on the highway and unfortunately hit two passenger vans in traffic, causing the escape window to break.
After the incident, Phu Son Commune Police seized 2 rubber handcuffs and 10 iron balls delivered by P. and Q., and at the same time asked the two children to write a self-criticism and hand them over to the family for strict management.
