On November 3, the Truong Sa Island Logistics - Technical Service Center (navy Squadron 129) completed support for repairing the problem of fishing boat BD-98149.TS, helping fishermen continue to go offshore to exploit seafood, affirming sovereignty over Vietnam's sea areas.
Previously, at around 7:00 a.m. on November 3, the Commander of the Truong Sa Island Logistics - Technical Service Center (Center) received a call requesting support from fishing boat BD-98149.TS captained by Mr. H.V.A (from Gia Lai) due to a broken fishing net system and could not continue fishing. The boat had previously departed from the port on October 28 and was carrying 14 fishermen practicing the trap.
After instructing fishing vessels to dock safely, the Center's Technical Team surveyed and assessed the damaged fishing gear system. Then dismantle the winch, bring the damaged equipment to the repair workshop for processing again.
At about 4:00 p.m. the same day, after the system was repaired, re-installed and tested, the fishing boat left the port to continue exploiting seafood at sea. On this occasion, the Center supported fishing vessels with 5,000 liters of fresh water, presented 28 life jackets, national flags and some essential necessities.
At the same time, propagate the Prime Minister's Directive 45/CT-TTg; inform the developments of storm No. 13 to captains and fishermen on fishing vessels to have shelter plans and respond promptly during the rainy and stormy season.
