According to information from the People's Committee of Moc Son Ward, on October 6, the ward had prolonged heavy rain, causing the water level of the streams to rise and the flow to be rapid.
At around 5:00 p.m. the same day, Hoang Thi N S (born in 2016, residing in residential group 1, Moc Son ward) went to the bridge and stream near her foot washing house and unfortunately slipped and was swept away by floodwaters.
Immediately after the incident, local authorities mobilized militia, police, and local people to search along the stream.
With efforts to search, by 9:00 p.m. the same day, the authorities had found the victim's body.
Currently, the authorities are completing the procedures to hand over the body to the family.
