On December 26, the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command announced that the unit had just coordinated with the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Hoa Chia Se Charity Fund to organize the program "Warm Clothes for Children".
The delegation presented more than 1,100 warm coats to students at kindergartens in Ba Nang commune (Dakrong district); Gio Mai commune (Gio Linh district); Vinh Ha, Vinh Khe, Vinh Chap, Vinh Thai communes (Vinh Linh district).
The above schools are mainly in mountainous areas, where there are many ethnic minority students with difficult circumstances.
At this time, in Quang Tri province, there is prolonged rain and cold. Warm coats are given to students, a meaningful gift, helping them to go to school warmer.
Colonel Le Hong Viet, Deputy Political Commissar of the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command, said that the program "Warm Clothes for Children" not only promptly provided warm clothes to students in the cold winter, but also conveyed the love and sharing of the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command and benefactors.
This is one of the regularly organized activities with practical significance, demonstrating the affection and responsibility of the provincial armed forces towards the grassroots, joining hands with local Party committees and authorities to build a good community.
