On September 26, in Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Provincial Police held a conference to exchange and learn from the experience of the Cyber Security force and high-tech crime prevention. The conference was attended by leaders and officers of the Cyber Security force and high-tech crime prevention force of provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region.
The conference is a forum for units under the Public Security of provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta region to share experiences and improve capacity in ensuring cyber security and preventing high-tech crimes. In addition, the conference is also an opportunity for units to grasp new crime trends, advanced technical and professional measures to ensure national security and social order in the context of digitalization.
At the conference, delegates listened to presentations from representatives of provinces and cities, with content related to the application of technology in detecting and handling cybercrimes, along with lessons learned from typical cases. The conference also discussed promoting inter-provincial cooperation in information sharing, building a common database system on high-tech crimes to support more effective prevention and handling.
Colonel Diep Van The - Deputy Director of Kien Giang Provincial Police - emphasized the importance of improving the professional capacity of officers and soldiers in the context of increasingly sophisticated and complex high-tech crimes. He also affirmed that cooperation and experience exchange between units in the region are necessary to build a professional and effective cyber security and high-tech crime prevention force.
At the same time, the police units are required to continue to cooperate, exchange information, and resolutely fight against high-tech crimes, contributing to protecting cyber security and social order and safety in the Mekong Delta region.
