More than 1.1 million electronic health records integrated with VNeID in Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City - The city has 1,111,107 electronic health books, 22,408 referral papers, and 253,737 re-examination appointment papers integrated on VNeID.

According to information from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, the city launched a 55-day and night peak period for the entire health sector to effectively deploy the electronic health book integrated on the VNeID application.

Up to now, 100% of health insurance medical examination and treatment facilities in the area that generate data have transferred data according to regulations, the data transfer rate of facilities has reached 97.57%.

As of December 13, the city had 1,111,107 electronic health books, 22,408 referrals, and 253,737 follow-up appointments integrated on VNeID. This is also one of the 10 outstanding events of the city's health sector in 2024.

The city's health sector's outstanding events this year include proactively announcing the epidemic and issuing a plan to prevent measles in the city to help control the epidemic; converting the drug bidding method from individual to combined bidding for grassroots health facilities to ensure sufficient drug supply for health stations; a network of community health collaborators was formed with 14,403 members; successfully implementing interventional cardiac catheterization techniques for fetuses with congenital heart disease...
