According to the results on the software system that tracks the progress of removing temporary and dilapidated houses in localities, the whole Hai Duong province has started the removal of temporary and dilapidated houses for 515/1,638 households (31.4%), 29 households have completed and put into use.
Some localities with high progress in construction have achieved high results such as Nam Sach district (66%), Kinh Mon district (42.3%), Gia Loc district (40.1%). Thanh Mien district is the locality with the lowest construction start rate in Hai Duong province at 14.5%.
In order for the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses to be implemented effectively and ensure progress, the Steering Committee for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses at all levels regularly inspects the progress of house construction and repair; urges and encourages families who are eligible for support to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses to promptly break ground and start construction.

Along with that, directing Party committees, authorities, and mass organizations to promote the spirit of "mutual love and support", promote propaganda and mobilize cadres, party members, and people to actively support funding, construction materials, and working days to help households have more resources to build and repair houses.
Previously, the People's Committee of Hai Duong province held a conference on the implementation of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province. Emphasizing that the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province is not only a political task but also demonstrates the affection and concern of Party committees and authorities for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs, poor households, and near-poor households, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau requested the Steering Committees at all levels to continue to direct and resolutely implement the work contents, striving to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province in June 2025.
