Martyr Bui Duc Vinh (born in 1963, hometown in hamlet 5, Xuan Hung commune, Xuan Thuy district, Ha Nam Ninh province), now group 2 (Xuan Truong town, Xuan Truong district, Nam Dinh province). He enlisted in the army and worked at unit C301E681 of the Department of Transport (now Brigade 971 of the Department of Transport - General Department of Logistics). During his duties, he heroically sacrificed himself on May 27, 1983 in Phong Thu commune (Huong Dien district, Binh Tri Thien province), now Phong Thu ward (Phong Dien town, Hue city).
After the martyrs died, the cadres and people of Phong Thu commune held a funeral. Following the request of the martyrs' relatives, on February 20, the Martyrs' Remains Collection Team (Team 192) under the Hue City Military Command exhumed the remains of martyr Bui Duc Vinh at the cemetery of the Trach Thuong 2 residential group (Phong Thu ward) and handed them over to the People's Committee of Phong Dien town for burial at Huong Dien Martyrs' Cemetery.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Town People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee of Phong Dien Town 24 Hoang Van Thai expressed his deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the cause of defending the Fatherland. The Party Committee, government and people of Phong Dien town have always done a good job of gratitude, continuing to search for and collect martyrs' remains to meet the wishes of martyrs' families. The locality is committed to taking good care of the graves, organizing the funeral and burial with the most solemnity and solemnity.
In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, leaders, cadres, soldiers, local people and relatives of the martyrs respectfully offered flowers, burned incense and observed a moment of silence to express their gratitude for their sacrifice for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
After the ceremony, the Party Committee, the government, departments, branches, unions and relatives of the martyrs sent the remains of martyr Bui Duc Vinh to the resting place, and burned incense to pay tribute to the martyrs at Huong Dien Martyrs' Cemetery.
