Quang Tri - The process of collecting martyrs' remains in Hai Lang district, discovered many types of explosives such as bombs and bullets lying deep underground.

On February 21, the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command said that while carrying out the task of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains in Nam Chanh village (Hai Chanh commune, Hai Lang district, Quang Tri province), Team 584, Political Department, Quang Tri Provincial Military Command discovered many explosives.

When detecting the explosives, Team 584 urgently protected the scene and reported to superiors for handling.

Upon receiving the news, the Engineering force of the Provincial Military Command approached the area, reviewed and conducted a search mission.

As a result, the unit collected 12 bullets of various types, including 6 B40 bullets and 6 ammunition depots.

Because the bullets were not activated and were located near a residential house, where Team 584 was searching for martyrs' remains and were at high danger, the engineering force moved the bullets to the detonation location concentrated at Cam Nghia sports school (Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province).

It is known that from February 2, 2025 to now, the Engineering force of the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command has received 30 reports and safely handled nearly 70 explosives of all kinds, ensuring absolute safety in all aspects.
