Accordingly, the 2026 Economic Census will be conducted nationwide, with large scale, complex content, and a wide scope of investigation. The survey results aim to fully assess the current situation of economic institutions in terms of quantity, scale, labor, production and business results, level of application of information technology and digital transformation; at the same time, reflect the structure, distribution of facilities and labor by locality, economic sector, type and form of ownership.
In order for the 2026 Economic Census in the province to be of good quality and on schedule, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province requested the Provincial Statistics to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches, sectors and localities to implement the Census Plan. Provincial statistics are the focal point for monitoring, urging, and synthesizing the implementation situation; promptly reporting to the Ministry of Finance and the Provincial People's Committee on arising difficulties and problems. Based on the guidance of the Central Government, the Provincial Statistics advise the establishment of a Provincial Steering Committee and a Standing Committee for Work, and at the same time guide the People's Committees of communes and wards to establish a Commune Steering Committee.

Statistics The province is responsible for developing a plan to implement the General Census across the province; guiding the selection of team leaders and investigators to ensure quantity and quality; organizing professional training, guiding the use of information collection software; organizing a cost-effective and practical launching ceremony; launching emulation movements; strictly inspecting and supervising each stage, ensuring accurate, complete and timely information collection.
The Tax Department coordinates to provide administrative data, lists of enterprises, cooperatives, and business households in operation; coordinate propaganda and mobilization to declare information as required by the General Investigation. The Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks, Department of Industry and Trade provides a list of enterprises in industrial parks and clusters and urges enterprises to participate in the investigation.
The People's Committees of communes and wards are responsible for organizing implementation in the area; propagating, selecting investigators; ensuring quality, reliability and information progress. Enterprises, cooperatives, production and business establishments, and religious establishments in the province are responsible for providing honest, complete, and timely information according to regulations.
