On the afternoon of February 13, Head of the Organizing Committee of Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee Ho Thanh Thuy chaired a meeting to announce a number of projects to reorganize the apparatus in the political system of Bac Lieu province.
Attending the meeting were leaders of relevant agencies and units, including: Party Committees of provincial Party agencies, Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, Bac Lieu Newspaper, Provincial Labor Federation, Provincial Youth Union, Department of Health, Department of Education and Training, Bac Lieu Culture and Arts Magazine.
According to Project 16, on February 11, the Provincial Party Committee decided to end the operation of Bac Lieu Culture and Arts Magazine under the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of Bac Lieu province; assign Bac Lieu Newspaper to take over the functions and tasks of propagating Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh's thought; the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; and to carry out information and publishing in accordance with the Press Law, the Publishing Law, etc. After ending the operation of the Culture and Arts Magazine under the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of the province. At the same time, receiving the specialized apparatus organization to ensure suitability.
Regarding the arrangement of the province's press agencies, comrade Ho Thanh Thuy said: The Provincial Party Committee has just decided to arrange the Bac Lieu Culture and Arts Magazine, and has not yet commented on the merger of Bac Lieu Newspaper and Bac Lieu Radio and Television Station.
Regarding the organizational structure of the Provincial Labor Federation, from 4 internal organizations down to 3 organizations. Dissolve the Education Sector Trade Union, the Health Sector Trade Union, and the Civil Servants Trade Union; Establish the Provincial Party Agencies Trade Union under the Provincial Party Agencies Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union under the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee.
After the arrangement, the Provincial Youth Union also reduced 1 internal unit and was assigned by the Provincial Party Committee to take over the functions and tasks of the Provincial Agencies Bloc Youth Union after the Provincial Agencies Bloc Party Committee ended its operations.
The Provincial Party Committee requested to complete the organizational arrangement in February 2025.
