On February 8th, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Cai Khe Ward (Can Tho City) organized the "Spring Smile" Program for the second time in 2026.

The program aims to promote the spirit of "For beloved younger siblings" of Youth Union levels for children in poor households, near-poor households, and children in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Tet and spring. At the same time, create conditions for disadvantaged children and students to participate in useful and fun games before the New Year.
This is also an activity to celebrate the success of the 14th National Party Congress, celebrating the glorious Party - celebrating Binh Ngo Spring 2026.
Providing information at the program, Mr. Lai Phuoc Truong Thanh - Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Cai Khe ward - emphasized that the work of caring for children is always identified by the Cai Khe Ward Youth Union as an important and consistent task. In particular, the "Spring Smile" program for the second time - 2026 is not simply an activity of giving material gifts, but above all an opportunity to spread the spirit of sharing, responsibility and love in the community.
In the coming time, Cai Khe Ward Youth Union will continue to make efforts, innovate the content and form of activities to bring more meaningful programs for children in the area.


At the program, the Organizing Committee presented 700 gifts, with a total value of more than 300 million VND, to children, students and households in difficult circumstances in the area. In addition, children in difficult circumstances also participated in lotto shows, folk games, sand painting, free calligraphy booths, 0 VND booths and lucky draws.
In particular, the organizers coordinated with Hoan My Cuu Long Hospital and the Ninh Kieu medical examination team, Hoang Phap Pagoda (Ho Chi Minh City) to provide health advice and free medical examinations for students and people in difficult circumstances in the ward.
