Prosecuting 2 subjects for organizing illegal drug use in Hung Yen

Hung Yen - Dong Tien Hai Commune Police have just coordinated to investigate and clarify the case of organizing illegal drug use, prosecuting and temporarily detaining 2 related subjects.

On June 25, Hung Yen Provincial Police said that, implementing a peak period of fighting and preventing drug crime, Dong Tien Hai Commune Police discovered and clarified a case of organizing illegal drug use in the area.

Accordingly, at about 8 am on June 11, the Dong Tien Hai Commune Police force inspected Le Van Hai (born in 1988) and Nguyen Viet Hung (born in 1994), both residing in Hung Thinh village, Dong Tien Hai commune, due to signs of suspected illegal use of drugs.

The rapid test results showed that both subjects tested positive for drugs Ketamine and Heroin.

At the police station, Hai and Hung confessed that at about 10 pm on June 10, they jointly organized the illegal use of drugs in Hai's family kitchen area.

During the working process, Le Van Hai voluntarily handed over a nylon bag containing white powder. Dong Tien Hai Commune Police made a record, sealed the exhibits and requested an appraisal.

The results of the examination determined that the seized exhibits had a weight of 0.0494 grams, including drugs Ketamine and Heroin.

Based on documents and evidence collected, on June 16, the Investigation Police Agency of Hung Yen Provincial Police issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the defendants and temporarily detain Le Van Hai and Nguyen Viet Hung to investigate the crime of "Organizing the illegal use of narcotics" under Clause 1, Article 255 of the Penal Code.
