On May 28, Lang Biang Ward Police - Da Lat (Lam Dong) said that the Provincial Police Investigation Agency had prosecuted and temporarily detained 2 subjects related to property thefts occurring in the area.
Previously, Lang Biang Ward Police - Da Lat received a report from people about thieves breaking in and stealing valuable motorbikes.
Although the incident occurred at night and the traces left were not many, the ward police force urgently deployed synchronous professional measures, reviewed the area and verified the suspected subjects.
Through investigation, the police force identified An Van Hieu (37 years old, residing in Hung Yen province) as a related subject and coordinated with functional agencies to initiate prosecution and arrest to investigate the act of property theft.
Next, Lang Biang Ward Police received subject Hoang Van Dung (29 years old, residing in Bac Ninh province) arrested by people while committing property theft at a resort project in the area.
Immediately after receiving the case, the police force quickly coordinated to investigate, consolidate dossiers, documents and evidence to handle according to the provisions of law.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Lam Dong Provincial Police has issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and temporarily detain Hoang Van Dung to continue investigating and clarifying.
