According to the records, Nguyen Minh Thuong has a criminal record, in 2022, the People's Court of Cau Ngang district, Tra Vinh province (before the merger) sentenced him to 2 years in prison for organizing gambling.
After serving his prison sentence and not having his criminal record cleared, Thuong continued to organize gambling in the form of cockfighting for money.
On October 15, the Commune Police dismantled a cockfighting point in Hamlet II, My Long Commune organized by Nguyen Minh Thuong. Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Vinh Long Province Police is consolidating the case file to handle according to the law.
