Lang Son - Functional agencies have prosecuted the subject who smashed a coffee shop after a family conflict in Yen Binh commune.

On May 28, the Investigation Police Agency of Lang Son Provincial Police said that it had initiated a criminal case, prosecuted the accused and executed an arrest warrant for Tran The Toan (born 1988, residing in Yen Binh commune) to investigate the act of "Disturbing public order".

According to information from functional forces, in the process of ensuring security and order in the area, Yen Binh Commune Police coordinated with the investigating agency to verify and collect documents related to the incident that occurred at Tung Hang coffee shop, Dong But village.

Previously, at about 11:30 pm on April 10, 2026, Toan had an argument with relatives during family activities at the above coffee shop.

After the argument, this person left and then returned with 2 baseball bats to threaten people inside. However, the shop door was locked at that time, so Toan could not approach.

Unable to control his anger, Toan stood outside, loudly cursing, challenging and using a stick to continuously hit the shop door, causing the area to become unstable at night, affecting the lives of many surrounding people.

From the collected documents and evidence, on May 22, 2026, the Investigation Police Agency of Lang Son Provincial Police issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute the defendant Tran The Toan. At the same time, functional forces executed an arrest warrant to serve the investigation.

Currently, the case is continuing to be handled according to legal regulations.
