On April 18, Dak Lak Provincial Police initiated a criminal case and prosecuted defendant Nguyen Quy Khoi (resident of Dray Bang commune) to investigate the act of illegally using drugs.
According to the case file, Nguyen Quy Khoi has been a drug addict since 2023. Although he was sent to rehab and managed after rehab in the locality, the subject did not give up but continued to relapse, using heroin in the form of injections.
Through grasping the situation, the commune police discovered, inspected and identified the subject as positive for drugs. From there, consolidated the file for competent authorities to prosecute and handle according to the provisions of law.
