Previously, at about 10:25 am on March 20, 2026, during patrols and inspections to ensure security and order in the area, the An Thi Commune Police Task Force discovered a suspicious man in the concrete road area of Quanh village field.
Conducting an inspection, functional forces identified the subject as Hoang Van Duc (born in 1981, residing in Cu Tu village, Xuan Truc commune). Through inspection, it was discovered that in Duc's back pocket there was a package of olive paper, inside containing white substances in the form of lumps and powder. The subject confessed that this was heroin, just bought for use.
An Thi Commune Police made a record of catching the offender red-handed, sealed and seized the exhibits. The results of the examination determined that the seized substance was heroin, with a weight of 0.170g.
On March 25, 2026, the Investigation Police Agency of Hung Yen Provincial Police issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute the defendant Hoang Van Duc for the act of illegally possessing narcotics. Currently, the case is being further investigated and handled according to regulations.
