Recently, a number of businesses in An Phat Industrial Park reported the theft of many license plates - an important control part of a lift, worth 8-15 million VND per vehicle. The thefts occurred at night, taking advantage of the time when the construction site was deserted to break in and dismantle the equipment. Not only did businesses lose assets, but they also delayed the construction progress of projects in industrial parks.
After half a month of investigation, An Phu Commune Police coordinated with the Criminal Police Department to arrest two subjects: Nguyen Quang Hien (born in 1985) and Nguyen Dinh Quyet (born in 1996), both residing in Hai Phong City. The seized exhibits included 16 license plate boxes of foreseeing vehicles, lock-breaking tools ( iron cutting machines, screws, scissors), motorbikes and many other related objects and documents.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency - City Police has issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and issue a temporary detention order for the two accused Nguyen Quang Hien and Nguyen Dinh Quyet for theft of property as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 173 of the Penal Code.
