An Giang - In Hao's cigarette pack and leather wallet, there were many nylon bags containing white crystals, identified as drugs.

On June 30, the Investigation Police Agency of An Giang Provincial Police said that it had issued a Decision to prosecute the accused and execute a Temporary Detention Order for Nguyen Van Hao (born in 1985, residing in Chau Phu commune) to investigate the act of "Illegally possessing narcotics".

Previously, at 2:50 PM on June 19, 2026, at a house on Nguyen Trung Truc street, neighborhood 1, Rach Gia ward, An Giang province, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of An Giang Provincial Police caught Nguyen Van Hao red-handed in the act of illegally possessing drugs.

Through inspection, the police force discovered in the pack of cigarettes Hao kept on him 3 nylon bags containing white crystals suspected to be drugs. Checking Hao's leather wallet, functional forces seized 2 more nylon bags, inside containing many small sealed nylon bags containing white crystals.

In addition, the police also seized 1 glass crossbow, 1 metal scissors and many related exhibits. The results of the examination determined that all the seized white crystals were Methamphetamine drugs.

Working with the investigating agency, Nguyen Van Hao confessed that the above drugs were brought with him for use, but before he could use them, he was discovered and caught red-handed by the police force.

Currently, the Provincial Police Investigation Agency is continuing to investigate and clarify, and handle the subject according to the provisions of law.
