On August 22, Hung Yen Provincial Police informed that the Mobile Police of the Provincial Police had just patrolled and discovered 4 subjects violating drug-related regulations.
Previously, at around 10:30 p.m. on August 16, while patrolling armed forces on To Quyen Street in Van Giang Commune, the Mobile Police Department's Working Group in coordination with Van Giang Commune Police discovered a black Honda wave S motorbike with license plate 36P4-9450 with many suspicious signs.
Conducting an on-site administrative inspection, the young man driving the car gave his name as Truong Van Chien (born in 1996); the person sitting behind gave his name as Le Thi Ha (born in 1992), both permanent residents of Quynh Mai ward, Nghe An province.
At the time of inspection, Chien voluntarily took out his pants pocket and handed it over to the working group with a pack of yellow silver foil containing a thick white crystal powder. Chien stated that he bought heroin for use.
Through the examination, the white powder seized from Chien was heroin weighing 0.301 grams.
Then, at around 8:45 p.m. on August 19, in the area of Phan Boi Chau Street, Thai Binh Ward, while on duty, the Mobile Police Department's Working Group coordinated with Thai Binh Ward Police to discover two young men driving a Honda Airblade motorbike, black, license plate 17B5-542.34 traveling on the road with signs of suspected drug crimes.
The working group requested to stop the vehicle for administrative inspection.
During the inspection, the two young men stated that the driver was Bui Bao Ngoc (born in 2002, residing in Tran Hung Dao ward) and the person sitting behind was Nguyen Duc Manh (born in 2003), residing in Thai Binh ward, Hung Yen province.
According to the police, Ngoc voluntarily took a black plastic bag from his right pants pocket and handed it over to the Working Group, inside which were 10 transparent plastic bags with red edges, measuring 4x7cm. Inside all 10 bags were green lumpy herbs.
Ngoc confessed that it was a marijuana that Ngoc hid to sell for profit.
Ngoc took a change from his left pants pocket worth 200,000 VND and confessed that it was money from selling a bag of marijuana to Nguyen Duc Manh on August 17.
The working group sealed the above exhibits according to regulations.
Currently, Hung Yen Provincial Police are investigating and handling the subjects according to the provisions of the law.
