On January 28, Ninh Binh Provincial Police informed that Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, Traffic Police Department, had just inspected and discovered passengers transporting illegal firecrackers.
Previously, during patrols and controls to ensure traffic order and safety on the route and area under their responsibility, the Task Force of Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police stopped a taxi with license plate 90H-036.xx to check the driver's alcohol concentration.
During the inspection, the driver did not violate alcohol concentration regulations. However, the Task Force discovered that the passenger on the car, Lai Van Manh (born in 1992, residing in Duy Tien ward, Ninh Binh province) had suspicious signs, so they requested an administrative inspection.
Through inspection, functional forces discovered Lai Van Manh carrying a black nylon bag, inside which there was a red firecracker cake, in the form of firecrackers, weighing about 0.7 kg.
Proceeding to work, Lai Van Manh confessed to buying the above firecrackers through social networks with the aim of bringing them back for use during Tet.
Currently, the Task Force has made a record of the incident, handed over the person and exhibits of the violation to Liem Tuyen Ward Police to continue investigating, verifying, and handling according to the provisions of law.
