The People's Committee of Kien Giang province has just issued Official Dispatch No. 2407 on strengthening management and rectifying traffic law compliance of cadres, civil servants and public employees.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province requested directors, heads of departments, branches, sectors, mass organizations (assigned by the Party and State) and Chairmen of People's Committees of districts and cities to promote the pioneering, exemplary, leading role of cadres, civil servants, and public employees in complying with traffic laws to reshape the habit of complying with the law, first of all traffic laws, as well as other provisions of law in the whole society.
Consider the responsibility of the head of the agency or unit directly employing cadres, civil servants and public employees who have many people violating alcohol concentration, not complying with orders and requests of law enforcement forces or not strictly or promptly handling cadres, civil servants and public employees who have committed violations under their management authority.
The Director of the Provincial Police Department directed the Police of units and localities to comply with the spirit of the rule of law during patrolling, inspecting and handling traffic law violations, with no forbidden zones, no exceptions, and no interference or influence to ignore violations.
Disciplinary action must be taken against officials who do not thoroughly handle or ignore violations during the handling of traffic administrative violations. The handling process must be verified. If the violator is an official, civil servant or public employee who violates the alcohol concentration when driving a vehicle and does not cooperate with the authorities in handling the violation, the agency or unit managing the official must be notified for consideration and handling in accordance with regulations.
Previously, the Provincial Police also held an online conference on handling officials, civil servants, public employees and soldiers who violated alcohol concentration while driving.
Colonel Nguyen Van Han - Director of the Provincial Police Department emphasized: In addition to complying with the provisions of the law, officers and soldiers in the police force and armed units must especially uphold the sense of responsibility and be exemplary in all actions. Violations of alcohol concentration when driving vehicles, or failure to cooperate with the authorities, will be strictly handled, in accordance with the provisions of the law and the regulations of the industry.
In addition, propaganda work must be strengthened to raise awareness throughout society, especially among cadres and civil servants, about the harmful effects of drinking alcohol while participating in traffic. Regular monitoring and inspection measures will be tightened to ensure that everyone strictly implements this regulation.
