On February 21, the People's Committee of Bao Ninh commune (Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh) said that local forces had promptly successfully rescued the fishing boat and 8 crew members stranded.
Accordingly, at around 1:00 p.m. the same day, the QB-9 1995TS ship, with 8 crew members on board, captained by Pham Quang Hai (born in 1991, residing in Quang Binh), ran aground at Nhat Le estuary.
After receiving the news, the authorities of Bao Ninh commune mobilized 2 rescue ships and asked for a water motorbike to support.
At around 3:30 p.m., the stranded fishing boat was successfully rescued, and all crew members were safe.
