On May 21, Ninh Binh Provincial Police said that through reconnaissance and grasping the situation in the area, Giao Thuy Commune Police had just discovered and arrested 1 case, 3 subjects for the act of organizing the illegal use of drugs.
The three arrested subjects all reside in Giao Thuy commune, including: Phung Van Dap (born in 1982), Nguyen Tuan Luc (born in 1992) and Pham Huu Luong (born in 1986).
At the scene, Giao Thuy Commune Police discovered and seized tools for illegal drug use. Through testing, it was determined that the subjects were all positive for Methamphetamine.
Previously, at about 11 am on May 19, in Me village, Gia Vien commune, the commune police discovered and caught red-handed 2 subjects Hoang Anh Tuan (born in 2007) and Dinh Tran Tuan Nhat (born in 2008) both residing in Gia Vien commune illegally possessing drugs.
Through fighting with the subjects, Gia Vien commune police continued to arrest Duong Van Phuc (born in 1999, residing in Gia Vien commune). Phuc is the drug dealer for Hoang Anh Tuan and Dinh Tran Tuan Nhat.
Also in Giao Hung commune, the commune police inspected, discovered, and caught Ngo Van Sang (born in 1982, residing in Giao Hung commune) red-handed illegally possessing 13 packets of heroin-type drugs weighing more than 0.85g.
Searching the residence of suspect Sang, Giao Hung Commune Police continued to discover and seize 19 packets of heroin-type drugs weighing more than 2.07g. Ngo Van Sang confessed that these 19 packets of drugs were hidden to be sold to addicts.
Currently, Giao Hung Commune Police are continuing to coordinate with relevant units to investigate and handle subject Ngo Van Sang according to the provisions of law.
