On January 18, at Dai Doan Ket Square, Pleiku city, next to the flower street, snake mascots were displayed, attracting visitors.
The statues are sculpted by the artist, expressing the spirit, bringing the joyful and bustling atmosphere of Tet and Spring. In particular, the statues of the snake family mascot in brocade costumes bear the traditional characteristics of the Jrai and Ba Na culture.
Ms. Tran Thi Tinh, a resident of Dak Doa district, shared: "This year, the city displays many lively snake mascots, some cute and adorable, some brave, showing the strength and authority of the king cobra."
With a total decoration area of up to 1,180m², currently, dozens of workers are working hard on the flower street of Dai Doan Ket Square.
Painters diligently paint and draw lines to shape the mascot, while workers water the plants and plant flowers.
Carefully selected flowers include: cockscomb, firecrackers, daisies, blue queen flowers, carnations... creating a colorful picture.
According to the Pleiku City People's Committee, the project was deployed from January 6 and is expected to be completed on January 23, to serve people inside and outside the province to come for spring travel and entertainment.
From there, creating a beautiful, impressive image of the friendly, hospitable mountain town of Pleiku in the hearts of tourists from near and far.
