According to the reporter, on January 17, the mascot cluster at Hoa Binh city square is being rushed to completion. Dozens of workers are busy working to complete the project on schedule to serve the people during the spring festival.
Accordingly, the image of the mascot cluster with a height of 5m is shown on the main background with the logo of Hoa Binh province in the center position, the lower part of the logo is the image of Hoa Binh hydroelectric dam vividly described with the effect of spraying steam.
Speaking to reporters, Mr. Phan Vinh Nguyen - representative of the construction unit said: "The symbol is inspired by the image of workers of Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant with the mission of continuing the glorious history of the previous generation of cadres, soldiers, experts, and workers for the electricity of the Fatherland. Currently, the project is 80% completed, ensuring the opening date on January 22, 2025."
In addition to the mascot cluster, the square area also has models of shepherd boys, lion dances, fruit trays... recreating the countryside Tet with peaceful and happy images.
According to Mr. Nguyen, the entire project is unified, diverse in shape and color to create beautiful views from all directions, bringing high integration between the architectural form and the surrounding landscape, creating beautiful highlights. Therefore, no matter the viewing angle or shooting angle, residents and tourists can have unique check-in photos.
Ms. Quach Thi Kieu - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hoa Binh province - said: "The construction of the mascot symbol aims to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere to serve the people to enjoy spring, celebrate the traditional New Year and at the same time create a highlight in Hoa Binh city, attracting tourists to the province in early spring. Thereby, encouraging and motivating officials and people in the province to continue competing to successfully carry out the tasks of socio-economic development in 2025".
According to the plan, the mascot symbol will be officially displayed from January 22 to February 12, 2025 (ie December 23, year of the Dragon to January 15, year of the Snake).
