On October 19, Vinh Dieu Commune Police (An Giang) said that they had just caught Bui Van Qui (born in 1989, residing in Vinh Thanh Trung Commune, An Giang Province) red-handed while stealing a generator on a soil excavator (kobe) from a local resident.
Previously, during a patrol and control in the area, the Commune Police discovered Bui Van Qui stealing a generator on a excavator and 2 metal pipes of the vehicle. Initially, the total value of the property was determined to be about 3.5 million VND.
Working with the police, Qui confessed that he took advantage of the dark and the property without anyone to look after it, so he committed the above theft.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency has given the family a guarantee, the unit will continue to investigate to clarify and handle the violation according to the provisions of law.
