On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the working group of Hospital 199 visited and presented gifts to children with disabilities and skin poisoning.

On the morning of October 6, 2025, organizations and unions (including the Trade Union - Youth Union - Women's Union) of Hospital 199 (Ministry of Public Security) stationed in Da Nang City brought brilliant lanterns and Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to hand over to children at the Center for Protection of victims of Agent Orange and children in need of the city.

The Mid-Autumn Festival gifts that the working group gave to the children were 20 boxes of milk, a cake, a small, beautiful lantern... containing the sharing of the hospital's staff.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Dung - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Hospital 199 said: "The Mid-Autumn Festival is not only a playground for children but also an opportunity for the whole society to show concern and care for future generations and hope they will feel the joy, confidence and motivation to live more positively, towards a bright future. Each gift given is a word of encouragement for them to be more confident and strive to improve their lives".

In return, every single smile, innocent eyes, and cultural exchange and singing of the children are the most precious gifts that the group received in the morning filled with humanity.

According to Ms. Vo Thi Thu - Deputy Director of the Center, the Center for Protection of victims of Agent Orange and Unfortunate Children in the city currently has 3 facilities. Facility 1 is located in Thanh Khe Ward, facility 2 is located in Ba Na Commune and the facility is located in Tam Ky Ward. Currently, the Center is directly caring for and caring for 120 children with many different types of disabilities and ages.

The center organizes boarding care, rehabilitation, cultural education, vocational training such as sewing, incense making, conical ensembles, flower veins, IT learning... along with many recreational activities, singing, entertainment to help children reduce stress, depression, increase confidence, and gradually recover physically and mentally.
